We are almost to the halfway point of 2021, June is right around the corner and if you have not started planning and preparing for your MIPS submission the time is now!
As a reminder, registry participation is one of the objectives for the Promoting Interoperability category.
Today I am providing you with some information regarding a free registry that is available.
Participation with the CDC’s National Health Care Surveys program focuses on data collection around the cost and quality of health care. The National Health Care Surveys Registry is a Public Health Reporting Registry. that facilitates participation with data collection for the National Health Care Surveys.
Multiple survey programs are available and include:
- National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS)
- National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NHAMCS)
- National Hospital Care Survey (NHCS)
- National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP)
The National Health Care Surveys works together with the CMS MIPS Incentive program. Eligible Providers and Hospitals can register their intent to submit data to NCHS and remember REGISTRATION IS FREE OF CHARGE! With registration, attesting to a public health reporting measure is met.
