Alexis is the Marketing Coordinator at eMedApps. With 4 years experience in marketing, she has a passion for engaging audiences with captivating messaging for our brand awareness. She is new to our team and eager to help eMedApps stay ahead of the game in all areas including brand development, social media, blogging and much more.

Mary’s in-depth knowledge of NextGen PM along with her years of experience in the roles that NextGen automates allows her to bring a wealth of knowledge to our client implementations. As an Application Specialist at eMedApps, Mary is responsible for PM implementations and upgrades at many large mulit-specialty physician practices. She analyzes workflow and develops training tools and documentation for office personnel and physicians. She also assists organizations in the design of their reports and forms to meet the requirements of the physician’s accountants, State and Federal regulatory agencies.

Carlos is a Solution Specialist at eMedApps and has been working in the information technology field since 2013. He is currently enrolled at Phoenix University, Illinois taking a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with an Advanced Cyber Security specialization. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. In 2015, Carlos moved to Illinois to pursue a career in Healthcare IT.
When he is not working, he enjoys playing video games and spending time with his wife and dogs. Carlos is a dog lover and frequently helps dog rescue associations, assisting them with fostering while they find the dog’s forever home.

Anita Johnson is a Interface Developer / Solution Specialist at eMedApps. She has been involved with healthcare software development and interfacing data for the past 18 years. She studied computer science at Rice University and Houston has been her home ever since. She loves Houston 9 months out of the year and then spends the other 3 in the air conditioned spaces or on vacation. She has raised two children and is currently raising two yorkies. She is fairly confident that 2018 -2019 is going to be the year for the Texans, Rockets and Astros - a Houston trifecta.

Holly Cooper is a Business Development Manager at eMedApps, who has been in the HIT field for the past 8 years. She has been in sales and customer service most of her life and claims it is in her blood. Her studies in mathematics at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas trained her to have an analytical approach with a cheerleader attitude. Her expertise is helping the customer bridge the gap between the products offered and their individual needs. She is a single mom to two teenagers while also keeping up with her 3 dogs. She enjoys people, pets, traveling and wine. Holly is located in the Dallas area and handles our Mid-Southern region - primarily Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Victoria is a Senior Application Specialist and NextGen Certified Professional at eMedApps. She works in a variety of roles for our clients. She is typically responsible for upgrades, Crystal reports, template development, custom products, Uniform Data System (UDS) and HEDIS reporting, implementation and support of the NextGen EHR, PM and Document Management product.
Victoria has over twenty-eight years of experience in the healthcare industry. She worked in a large FQHC/CHC system specializing in behavioral health, community health and primary care for many years as a clinical and database analyst. She managed the implementation and support of NextGen for over 200 providers at twenty locations. She has thirteen years’ experience with the NextGen product and over twenty years of practice management software in general, including but not limited to, eCornerstone and disease surveillance systems for the State of Illinois.
She is responsible for the Nextgen KBM application upgrades for physician practices and upgrade implementations. She analyzes workflows and develops training tools and documentation for office personnel and physicians. She is familiar with multi-specialty practices and modules, e.g., BBP, Rosetta, Fax Services, etc. She also assists organizations in the design of their crystal reports and template development. Victoria also provides on-going support to practices to resolve software and technical issues.
She received her undergrad in Computer Science. If she is not working, she’s enjoying boating and wave running on the Chain O’Lakes with her family (2 and 4 legged).

Amy is a Senior Application Analyst at eMedApps and is responsible for application support, development, training, and upgrades of the Nextgen EHR product. She has 14 years’ experience with the Nextgen product and is Nextgen certified for EHR, EPM and Document Management. Amy has been in the healthcare industry for 21 years’ and has a clinical background in Emergency Room Trauma as well as Pain Management. Amy has also been a director for a consulting firm that supported over 40 different clients and she managed a team that implemented the Nextgen product. She has also implemented the Nextgen product for a large hospital system in Houston, Texas during her time with Dell. Her background in not only the clinical arena but the Nextgen product, allows her to not only understand the physicians’ point of view but also implement their ideas within the Nextgen EHR product.

Holly Bellie is a Solutions Specialist at eMedApps with over 25 years in the IT field. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from DePaul University and is a technology geek. She joined eMedApps in 2006 at their Schaumburg, IL office. Her primary focus is IT support for healthcare products and services. She has knowledge in implementing, maintaining and upgrading software and hardware infrastructures as they pertain to healthcare IT environments. Holly is an avid reader, loves to eat pizza, watch blockbuster movies and spend time with her family.

Betsy is a NextGen Certified Professional who has been with eMedApps over 9 years. She is an EPM implementation specialist with a strong revenue cycle management background. She has helped multiple organizations with her powerful analytical skills to identify process issues and implement improvements among a complex payer and specialty mix.
